eBay put an exceptionally large shipping cost on an order. How can I refund the buyer?
eBay charged an excessive shipping charge to an item I sold. How can the buyer get a credit or refund for this?

Mentor2 years agoeBay doesn't put a shipping charge on any items. You, the seller, are responsible for setting up the listing correctly. You add the weight, dimensions, and choose the type of shipping. The distance is all that eBay figures, using your information. If the amount was wrong, it was based on the information you provided.
You can issue a partial refund through your orders page under actions. In the future, make sure all your information is correct.
