Ebay purchases
I just received my orders today. They were in good shape, so no problem with that. My question, however, is why did my orders come from Amazon when I had ordered from you, Ebay? I'm boycotting Amazon and in spite of a good delivery, it doesn't sit well with me. IDK if you know about this or not, but it doesn't seem right. If I order from Ebay, I shouldn't see packages from Amazon.

Retail drop-shipping is not allowed, though some sellers may be using Amazon Fulfillment to deliver their own products, which is allowed.
Folks that are already breaking the rules by retail drop-shipping will not think twice about breaking a rule about hiding the fact that they are drop-shipping from Amazon, so buyers will still have to take steps to avoid buying from drop-shippers if that is their intention regardless of what policy eBay implements.
It may not be possible to always identify in advance those users who drop ship, but it is possible to identify some common characteristics of illicit retail drop shippers or other under-performing sellers, and thus avoid the worst of them.
Often they can be spotted by a combination of low feedback number, free shipping of heavy items, use of stock photos, high handling time (not necessarily if they are using Amazon, though), poor feedback received with complaints of delays and wrong items or out of stock cancellations, very odd item selection and/or quantities like items were chosen at random from a catalog, canned item descriptions scraped from another site, differences between registration location and item location (or vague item location -- like "US, United States"), or inability to answer even basic questions about the items being sold.
