Ebay Printed label cant be used- now what do i do?
The Label I paid Ebay for was for Media Mail, the package came back to me. I brought the package back to the post office and they said they can add to it and I need to pay them for another label. The payout started, so how do I get reimbursed for the Media Mail shipping label that was not used?

If it was, you may not be able to cancel it.
If there is no scan, try cancelling the label here:

OP7 months agoTHANKS, but no luck. They are saying the label was used, yet I have it in my possession. I would hate to think nothing can be done and I'm out $20. Is there a way to get in touch with a human at Ebay?

Mentor7 months agoIf the label is scanned at any point, it is used.
You can have it in your possession but that is because the post office refused to deliver it to your customer.
You have not stated how you got the package to the post office.
Did the carrier pick it up? Did you drop it off at the post office. If it is a media mail label, at any point after dropping it off to the Post Office and being scanned they can look at it and realize that it does not qualify and they return it to you.
You have the item and the label, but if it was scanned, there is no refund.

OP7 months agoI dropped off the pkg my self, then the next day it came back to me with an explanation. I went back in and they said they cant use it. I dont think it was scanned as they seem to have opened it and then delivered it back to me.

It will immediately give you all the details about the history of the tracking number. When the label was created, when the post office received it and the disposition of the item.
IF they had it overnight, it is almost certain they scanned it, particularly since they are saying you can't cancel it because it was used. A scan means it is used. Even if it never left the post office.
