Ebay policies only for some people to follow but don't pertain to others

Special eBay policies for you only ,and other don't have to follow?I listed a 'Jerdon blow dryer' that is vintage and in the shape of a gun ,and mine got a listing violation with claims of a recall ,but there is not one and there's others listed on here ,and them sellers are allowed to sell them even though I appealed and told this.Anyone else going through this very strange thing?There is no recall whatsoever on item and I was not unaware that eBay could run their own recalls for specific items.

eBay doesn't run its own recalls, although eBay is allowed to decide what's listed for sale on the platform.
I checked and I also don't see a recall for Jerdon Blow Dyers on the CPSC website.
There is a recall for a Jerdon coffee maker.
I suspect the bot was confused and checked the brand and something else to make it think it was a Recalled item.
This has happened to all of us.
My advice is: don't relist it. Sell it on another platform.
If you choose to ignore that and want to relist, wait 6 months, take all new photos, and verify the category and item specifics are correct for your item.
