eBay O 02
How do I dispute a transaction that doesn't exist on my purchase history? I purchased some items on January 25 that totaled $160.80 which I paid for on said date. Then a month later I noticed on February 22 that the exact amount was taken out of my bank account, but there is no history on eBay for this date of any purchases. On my bank statement it shows eBay O 02 not the usual eBay logo. My bank declined my dispute and now I'm short $160.80 from my bank. Is there any possible way to dispute this through eBay vs. my bank?

Mentor3 years agoIf your credit card number was used by someone else to make a purchase using another eBay account aside from your own, you need to dispute that with your credit card issuer and get a new card number issued.
eBay can only help if your own eBay account was used.
If you did make a purchase, but you did not receive your order, make sure you did not use a different eBay account to make the purchase. If you did, you must use that account to file an "item not received" case with eBay.

If you purchased an item on eBay using your credit card and you did not receive the item, most credit cards will allow you to file a similar "item not received" case within six months of purchase, though if the seller can provide tracking that shows delivery you may lose your case.
