Ebay not sending the confirmation of the email I "sent" to support

So today I had some problems with some customs taxes and the VAT so I wanted to contact ebay about it because I paid it directly through ebay, so I went to support and supposedly I wanted the confirmation that I sent said email in my email and it didn't happen so I wanted to know if this is normal or if ebay is messing with me
