eBay not protecting buyers
I ordered a listing which had 8 of the same items in it. When I received it, they were the wrong items. I stared a return and the return stated that the seller was to pay for shipping. The seller refused to pay for shipping and the return destination was China... so I waited for eBay to step in. When eBay finally stepped in, they ruled for the seller. How can this be? I didn't get what I ordered! I appealed it and it was ruled against me again.
I'm at a loss for words on how eBay handled this purchase. I'm out $75 and the seller gets to do this to more people.

When the seller refused to pay for return shipping, did you go back to the return request and ASK Ebay to step in or did you not take action and Ebay closed the case because it timed out?

OP2 years agoI looked for a link to ask them to step in but couldn't find any way to do that until it timed out. I tried to contact them too but ebay has no phone contact ability now. (at least I couldn't find it)

OP2 years agoIt didn't give me the option to have eBay step in until it timed out. I then appealed it and they ruled against me. Ridiculous!
