Ebay needs to step up

An Ebay seller scammed us. Sold us a fake Dewalt battery that failed on the first use. Ebay collected the money from us. Ebay is refusing to return the money. The seller has disappeared. Ebay even kept their cut. Ebay is shifty.
Ebay has this massive opportunity to take market share from Amazon. So many of us are over the pedofascism of the big tech companies.
Instead, Ebay refuses to even handle returns the way Amazon does. The formula is simple, be trustworthy and take massive market share. Year after year we see Ebay refuse ethical terms which would generate massive clientelle. So sad.

OP1 week agoThe seller was 'working' with us on making it right. He did not end up doing anything for us. Turns out he was just stalling to get past the 30 days. Ebay needs to make this right. They are the platform that approved the criminal seller.

After thirty days has passed, eBay can no longer help, but you may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer up to six months of protection from the date of sale for items that are not as described.
