Ebay money back guarantee
I initiated a return with the seller. They closed the return because they don't accept returns. How do I now initiate the ebay money back guarantee and ask ebay to step in?

Mentor2 years agoWhen a seller has a No Returns policy, that is only for buyer's remorse: changed mind, doesn't fit, doesn't like it, found it cheaper elsewhere. If the buyer states Not as Described/missing items/etc. then ebay's Money Back Guarantee trumps the seller's no returns policy. The seller WILL accept the return, provide a prepaid shipping label, and once tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, s/he has 2 days to refund the buyer. If the seller refuses to accept the return, ebay can refund the buyer from the seller's account, and NOT require the buyer to return the item. The seller will also have a defect recorded on his/her account for an unresolved transaction.
Since the seller was able to decline the return, you will now have to go to Paypal, if that is how you paid, or file a chargeback with your credit card issuer. Do that within 180 days of the original transaction.
