eBay messaging to not reply to buyer wuestion
Received a message from eBay about not replying to a buyer question accusational of selling outside eBay, buyer wanted to know if salt shaker had 3 holes! What the hell if going on?

Are you referring to this message?
That message is displayed on every message for every member. It's not telling you not to reply to the buyer, it's reminding you not to exchange contact information in an effort to buy or sell outslde of eBay.
The new page is poorly designed, so it is confusing to a lot of members. Type your reply in the teeny tiny box at the bottom of the page. When you send it, your message will appear in the giant white space you probably think a message would be typed.
