eBay made refund after package was held by customs and now package has been delivered
What can be done when eBay made a refund and charged my bank account for an item that clearly showed the package was being held by the buyer’s country customs and now the package has been delivered so buyer got the item and also got their money back

Mentor11 months agoAt the time eBay had no way of knowing if the package will be released and delivered. So they had to side with the buyer since they never received the package. Unfortunately at this time eBay has no way of returning the refund to you and the buyer has no obligation to either return the item or the refund to you. You can try to ask the buyer to send you the money back.
In October eBay is changing the rules and will be able to send you the money they refunded to the buyer once delivery is proved. This will come out of eBay's pocket.
