eBay Listings Show as Published but Are Missing from Active Listings and Search
Summary: buddiesautoparts is experiencing an issue with eBay listings that show as published but are not appearing in their Active Listings, store page, or eBay search results. The listings, however, can be accessed and purchased through direct links retrieved via an API. They noted that the problem seems to affect only certain seller accounts, as listings from another account function normally. buddiesautoparts shared this to alert others and to provide evidence for eBay Support, hoping for a resolution to what appears to be a bug.
I’m posting this to help anyone else having trouble with eBay listings today.
When I publish a listing, eBay says it was published successfully. But it doesn’t appear in my Active Listings, on my store page, or in eBay search.
I use an API for my inventory system, and it can retrieve all the listings I published today. They are live and can be opened—and purchased—through a direct link. Without that link, though, I can’t find them anywhere on eBay.
I’m attaching the listings I published today as examples. If you’re seeing the same issue, you’re not alone.
I’ve seen several other sellers report this issue, so I wanted to share what I found and provide evidence for eBay Support.
I tried publishing listings from my other account, and everything worked normally there. It seems the issue may affect only certain seller accounts.
On the affected account, eBay confirms that the listings were published, and my inventory system can retrieve them through the API. They are live and accessible through direct links, but they don’t appear in Active Listings, on my store page, or in eBay search. I’m attaching the listings as examples.
This appears to be a bug. I hope eBay Support can investigate and fix it soon.
