Ebay links' structure
Summary: ja843658 is planning their first purchase on eBay and is curious about the variations in the seller's link structure, including the presence of a .io domain instead of .com. They are seeking clarification on why these differences exist. mr_lincoln responds that if the item is visible on eBay, the purchase can proceed without concern for the link details, but ja843658 insists on understanding the structure, especially since the seller isn't from the EU.
Hi, I'd like to make my first purchase at ebay from one seller, and it's an enough expensive coin. Could somebody explain to me a links' structure of ebay because I see the seller has different links structure. I put links below for example, not the real seller. That's only for example.
https://www.ebay.com/str/exampleshop
https://www.ebay.com/str/example-shop
https://www.ebay.com/str/example_shop
and a share link for is
why there's a io domain and not com?

Mentor1 week agoHi @ja843658
If the item is seen on the eBay domain there in Poland then you do not need links, you just need to buy the item from the Seller. This is the first time I have ever heard anyone asking about links.

OP1 week agoThanks. However, I'd like to get answers on my questions. And the seller isn't from the EU.
