eBay Labels
I sell low end sports cards. Recently I had a buyer say that he/she didn't receive the card in the mail (I'm using a standard white envelope- card is worth <$20). When I sell this way, I manually mark that the item has been shipped. Basically, it's my word against their word if anyone comes back to say that they didn't receive the item.... MY QUESTION: without paying up to get a tracking number, will the eBay label be enough for me to be covered on my end? At the PO the attendant scans the code and I cannot mark as shipped on my end. So does that cover me from being liable if the item never gets to the buyer, since the PO scans the code? I may be asking out of ignorance here, but help is needed. Thanks so much.
