Ebay keeps sending me items that can't be authenticated
I bought a handbag that due to modifications couldn't be authenticated through Ebay Authenticity Guarantee, and Ebay sent it anyways.
Now I bought some shoes, and I got an email again stating that due to miscategorization the item wasn't authenticated, and again Ebay sent it to me.
I can't get help from an agent and I'm really frustrated as I feel there's no use in getting items through the program if Ebay wont't back up their customers.
Is there any way to preset settings so Ebay won't send me items that are not guaranteed. Their program seems really flawed.

Only listings with the blue check mark showing the Authenticity Guarantee symbol are eligible for eBay to pay to authenticate. All other items are covered by the eBay 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection.

OP1 year agoYes,
Both of the listings were marked with the official blue check, and supposedly under the Ebay Authenticity Guarantee program. That is huge deciding factor for me to get the items.
They get sent to the authentication center, they fail authentication process and regardless are sent to me.
This happened twice in the last couple of months. I was under the impression Ebay is supposed to send them back to the seller.
