Ebay Items Not Appearing Internationally (ebay.co.uk etc.)
Hi all, I recently listed 100's of auctions on ebay.com - they had worldwide shipping available and I paid the extra $0.12 for international visibility.
The items did not appear internationally and it looks like they were only discoverable on ebay.com (not ebay.co.uk or any other European sites). Initially ebay said the items may be indexing and this may take 24hrs. 7 days later they are still not visible.
I have had numerous repeat customers, family and friends around the world confirm that my items are not visible to them. I can also not find the listings on ebay myself (I live in New Zealand), unless I am on ebay.com.
I ended up having to cancel all of my auctions as the limited market would have drastically reduced the final sale prices. I now have to pay nearly $1200 of listing and final value fees! I have left some 'test' items running and these are still not visible internationally.
This is a major issue for me as I need the worldwide market for my auctions. I have chatted with ebay rep's online who have been absolutely no help, and tell me that there is no problem and my listings are visible worldwide, which is simply untrue.
Has anyone else experienced this issue recently? I last sold on ebay approx 4 months ago and everything worked fine then, so it is a fairly new problem.
I have been trying to resolve this and want to scream. My entire business is on hold until this can be fixed. It is unbelievable that I haven't been able to speak to anyone at ebay who can even acknowledge this problem.
