Ebay item "delivered" wrong address right zip code
Im not sure what to do here. I bought a $13 item. Sells shipped it, and it was marked as delivered. Well I checked the item, and I can't see the delivery address because it wasn't my address. It also wasn't in my informed delivery daily email. USPS confirms it wasn't shipped to me, but can't provide any more info because it's not my address.. Ebay refunded, I guess because I'm a long time user and its a cheap item, but I've seen several people be scammed this was successfully now that i've looked. How do I avoid this? How could I prove this in the future if I ever bought a bigger ticket item? For now I think I'm keeping my purchases under $40.

OP2 years agoThe post Master at my local office also said the package had two tracking numbers on it, and they think they were scammed out of postage as well.
