EBAY IS VERY UNFAIR TO SELLERS AND I REALLY DONT KNOW WHY?
I SEND SO MANY EMAILS ABOUT THE BUYER IS NOT ANSWERING FOR THE DIMENSIONS OF MY BOX FOR RETURN - I COMPLAIN - I REPORT AND NOTHING TOUCH THE BUYER ......I NEEED MY ITEM TO BE SEND BACK TO ME AND NOBODY CARES....THEY ARE SOME BUYERS DO THAT ON PURPOSE AND GET ADVANTAGE FROM EBAY RULES THAT DONT CARE SO MUCH FOR SELLER AND CARE SO MUCH FOR BUYER.I AM TRYING FOR SO LONG TO KNOW PACKAGE INFO TO SEND SHIPPING LABEL - I ASK EBAY TP CONTACT BUYER BECAUSE IS NOT REPLY TO ME AND THEY DONT CARE - I CANNOT SEND A SHIPPING LABEL AND THEN BUYER TO SEND ME BIG BOX AND PAY 500USD ....IS EBAY UNDERSTAND THAT?
WHY EBAY IS NOT REPORT ALSO BUYER THAT IS NOT COOPERATE FOR THAT ?

Mentor2 years agoYou are in Cyprus. Where was your buyer? As stated, you cannot provide a label for a buyer in a different country. You also cannot ask the size of the box. You are wanting information that is not given to sellers and never has been. The system is automated and you can't change that just because you want it to work another way.

As stated, you cannot provide a label for a buyer in a different country. NO I CAN PROVIDE A LABEL BUT I DONT HAVE THE DIMENSIONS AND IF BUYER CHANGE THE BOX OR I DONT KNOW EVEN THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BOX I MIGHT GET CHARGED THE PRICE THAT I SOLD THE BINOCULARS .
You also cannot ask the size of the box. I ASK BUT BUYER NEVER REPLY - I ALSO ASK BUYER TO ASK AND FIND OUT SHIPPING FROM USA TO CYPRUS AND SEND HIM THE MONEY THROUGH EBAY SOMEHOW BUT HE NEVER ANSWER/REPLY
You are wanting information that is not given to sellers and never has been. I JUST WANT A SIMPLE INFORMATION THAT TAKE 1 MINUTE TO MEASURE OR WEIGHT THE BOX AND THATS IT
The system is automated and you can't change that just because you want it to work another way. SYSTEM IS BEEN MADE TO BE PRIGRAMMABLE OR CHANGE TO BE FUNCTION CORRECT OR DIFFERENT.

OP2 years agoIt was 5 to 10 days before the 30 days that ebay is given THAT i ask him for the dimensions and i was waiting for a reply - I thought because i report him for that , they will give more days because is not my fault and that ebay will contact him to reply - BUT EBAY IT STAY SILENT - I ONLY HAD A REPLY FOR A FULL REFUND AND THEY DONT CARE IF BUYER REPLY OR NOT !! EVEN BUYER OFFERED ME TO PAY SOME MONEY FOR RETURN BUT EBAY POLICY ( BUYER TOLD ME ) THAT THEY DIDNT ACCEPT.
MY POINT IF VIEW IS THAT THERE IS NO REAL CONTACT NOT EVEN ONE TIME BETWEEN BUYER OR SELLER WITH EBAY TO SOLVE PROBLEM @ THEY ONLY DECIDE FOR REFUND OR NOT AND THEY TAKE DECISION MOSTLY ON BUYERS SIDE, why ebay , after he see all that they dont contact me ?

Mentor2 years agoIf the buyer does not return the item, you are not charged for the label. You are not charged until it is scanned. No need to contact the buyer. They will return it in the time period that is given to them by eBay or they won't.

OP2 years agoyes i understand that now BUT imagine if box is big and i get charger 2 or 500 usd for delivery!! this is what im trying to explain again and again to ebay @ charges for delivery to my country are very expensive if pckage is more than 1 kg charge and I WANTED TO ESTIMATE EXACTLY DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT TO AVOID THESE OUTRAGE EXPENSES , look the estimate price if is calculate by approximate package ,do you understand now why I wanted the buyer or ebay to reply??Thanks

You can NOT supply a shipping label at all if you and the buyer live in different countries.
You would have to send buyer the money up front … like through PayPal. The buyer would have to TELL YOU the cost of a shipping label by checking rates out themselves.
Your buyer may be waiting to ask eBay to step into the case … knowing that eBay usually will just refund buyers without requiring them to return the item.
I’m very sorry this happened. There’s no way to force the buyer to respond to your questions.

OP2 years agothanks for the reply , I ask the buyer to help me to find out the cost and more info BUT AS I SAID HE NEVER REPLY!! WHY EBAY IS NOT BLAME HIM FOR THAT? MY ITEM IS STILL WITH HIM - I WRITE ALL DAY HERE AND EBAY IS NOT EVEN SEE ALL THAT TO REPLY?

eBay doesn’t require buyers to tell sellers the size of the box they’ll be using to return an item. [Hint: Most buyers use the same packaging it came with.]
IF the buyer has opened a return request … AND you want the item back before issuing a refund … THEN accept the return and provide a label. The label will cover different-sized packaging.
[There’s no reason to assume that the buyer will use an over-sized box just to cost you more money.]
If you don’t provide the label … it’s likely that eBay will refund the buyer with your money and let them keep the item. You’ll also receive a defect and forfeit your fees. You’re not helping yourself by withholding the label.

I will answer everything with my point of view.
FIRST of all i wrote this to see if other people have same situation.Now i am loosing the item because he is not replying and I lost 55eu fpr shipping to him ,

ok lets say i agree with you BUT the buyer throw OR not use the same box, do you know the cost for bigger box to my country as an island? believe me i was scared to see the prices , i add small numbers just to see the average cost and it was 3-4-5 hundred usd for a small package SO imagine if the box was bigger what i do then??

I open the request because i got upset for a 35 years old item that condition was like new and buyer wanted to be BRAND NEW with this complain that he did , also describing the fault like he is a specialist technician for such item and this was not true at all..on my post was so many clear fotos and i also write that i will answer all questions BUT never asked.

i didnt send any label because i explain above , BUYER DIDNT REPLY AND EBAY WAS NOT HELPFUL was just saying send label even i explain to them ) OR TO STEP IN AND DO SOMETHING that buyer wasnot answering ,
I AM NT SURE BUT THIS SHIPPING LABEL IS PREPAID OK? SO WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THEY SEND IT AND PRICE IS OVERLIMIT AND I DONT PAY THEM ? WILL THEY ACCEPT TO SHIP AND WAIT FOR ME TO SENT ?
this never happened to me but i wasnt waiting all that from ebay , i thought is more helpful on such cases by STEPPING IN and help situations for both parties

so you need to pray to find good buyers at the end of the day because with every compain you loose?
imagine if i wanted to ask something else the buyer and is not answering , what ebay will do ? again to stop answering emails ? not to interfear?
