EBay is too confusing to find help!
Summary: joh_2495 expressed frustration over a missing order from a seller, which was removed due to violations, and difficulty in contacting eBay directly. eburtonlab advised starting an 'item not received' claim and mentioned credit card protections as alternatives if the claim period expired. They also pointed out the seller's poor track record of feedback. joh_2495 appreciated the assistance and admitted being new to eBay, leading to further exchange about eBay practices. The conversation concluded with mutual appreciation.
I ordered a face listing mask on June 23, due to arrive between July 6-13. It never did arrive. I have twice contacted the seller and have been ignored, absolutely no response from them. The item was not expensive, but I have a BIG PROBLEM with this seller, Apoeee.trends, just TAKING my money with no return. I looked to the page that list my purchases to report this , but this purchase has "been removed because of violations" I cannot find anywhere to contact EBay to speak to a real person directly and the automated question/answers do not address my concerns and I cannot find how to report this seller. Even if I don't get my product or my refund, I would like to give a warning that this can happen if you choose this seller.
ALSO, can anyone advise me how to directly file a complaint with EBay without going through this massively frustrating automated chat?

The buyer has thirty days from the last estimated delivery date shown at the time of purchase to start an "item not received" claim with eBay. Once a claim has been started, the buyer has up to twenty-one business days to ask eBay to step in and force a refund if the seller is unable to provide tracking that shows delivery. After that, the case is automatically closed without a refund, and eBay can no longer help.

If you have waited too long to start a claim or to ask eBay to step in, you may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer some protection for items that are not received for up to six months from the date of purchase.

OPSep 13, 2026 at 4:04 PMTHANK you for responding! I am very new to EBay, so I'm not entirely sure how this works. The only notice I received from the seller was a notification that the item was taking longer than expected, so I waited. After a month I started contacting them and they have not responded at all. It's a small dollar amount and won't hurt me financially, but it would have been decent for Apogee.trends to respond, even if they said it was past time to request a refund. Again, thanks again. I know now to avoid that particular seller

Looking at that seller's feedback, the vast majority of the feedback is automated feedback. If you subtract out the automated feedback in the last year the seller has about 250 positives from actual users against 25 neutral ratings and 14 negatives, which means about 15 percent of the seller's transactions that received feedback from buyers were not positively rated, which is very poor for an eBay seller.

OPSep 13, 2026 at 8:25 PMOne more question, and again excuse my ignorance about EBay, but I was always taught to ask if you don't know...how do I find YOUR seller page? I'd like to take a look. I usually order about once a month and you have been so helpful!
