eBay doesn't just take money from your account with a reason though.
eBay will charge your back up payment for selling costs for optional listing upgrades such as Priority Promotions, Optional Listing Upgrades, etc.
This is why it is best to use a credit card for your back up payment method for selling costs so you don't have withdrawals from your checking account.

You can not close an account within 60 days of a sale or purchase. You do need to end any active listings first.
I recommend talking to customer service and have them explain exactly what the fees were for.

Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type PAYOUT in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
