Ebay is removing negative feedback for a dishonest seller and did NOT refund me
Merry Christmas everyone,
Just to let everyone know, ebay is currently commiting fraud along with a seller named lynbus-91. I purchased a jelly cat plush keychain for my daughter on december 14th from this seller. The seller says they shipped the item gave me a tracking #. However the item never arrived. Fedex will not give me tracking info on the item because it was NOT shipped to my address according to them and my name is NOT on the package, I currently have someone from FedEx investigating this, and I just wanted to let the community know that after 20+ years of being on ebay I will not ever trust them again. I left the seller negative feedback and ebay REMOVED the feedback, that same day I noticed another customer left the seller a negative feedback and it also was REMOVED the same day, now this is the day after xmas and there is 2 more negative feedback for the seller from completely different people and this time I have it on video. As proof that ebay is commiting fraud being as they are making money from people NOT getting items, and then REMOVING negative feedback when the customers did not ever get their items, I will be willing to post my home address on here and the tracking info from the auction I will forward all emails from both parties to PROVE that they are commiting FRAUD. The tracking # DOES NOT LINK TO MY ADDRESS. IT DOES NOT LINK TO ANY HOME ADDRESS. Ebay was on the phone with me walking through the tracking process ON Fedex website and STILL they will not refund, still sided with the seller.

OP7 months agoMudshark, thank you so much. I just got off the phone with someone from the US I am assuming. This entire process has been beyond frustrating and I'm seeing one of the people that posted feedback on the exact same item that I got scammed on. That being said ebay should do better at being able to track these fraud sellers if you want my opinion, you shouldn't need to have social media accounts to put your mind at ease ordering things from their website. They make enough to have a 1st party call center for the old people like myself that don't use other means.
With all that said, you are amazing, I did not expect to log back on here after a few hours and see such a detailed on point message explaining everything so well. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply I really really appreciate it and I would like to give you an update, the supervisor I spoke to said that my appeal was appoved and I will be refunded, while waiting on that to happen I did also report this seller to ebay.
Have a wonderful holiday break and stay safe thank you again!!!

The reasons why your feedback was removed are: You filed an Item Not Received dispute and it was declined so ebay would remove the feedback, or because the tracking number you received had a delivered scan and the seller could ask ebay to remove the feedback.
Because of Federal postal privacy regulations neither you or ebay can access the label info for The Delivery address or the Package type/size/weight info. eBay because they were not a part of the shipping contract. You because the package was not addressed to you.
Yo can get a refund for the purchase by contacting ebay through one of their social media platforms (Links Below). You need to have the seller's username and ebay Item Number (12 digits without hyphens) handy. You can find the item number by looking under the item title in your Order details.
You want to state the seller used a fake tracking number addressed to some place else, to get a delivered scan. That their feedback profile page has 2 negatives for using fake FedEx tracking. That the shipping method on the listing you bought from was supposed to be sent by USPS ground advantage not Fedex.
Also tell them that all of the listings for the seller's Montblanc pens they sold in the past few months now get a message saying: "We looked everywhere, Looks like this page is missing" notice an indication the information was removed by ebay and that the seller no longer has any items for sale.
Sign the message with your real and ebay usernames. The reps who man the social media platforms, are actual ebay employees who have the authority to issue refunds they can check the info you give them.
FYI, the ebay phone reps work for a 3rd party call/chat center and have to respond by reading from the playbook they receive which does not cover all issues. If you called a phone number you looked up online, you were not speaking with anyone connected to ebay at all. the only way to contact ebay by phone is to request a call back from them.
