eBay is refusing to give me my money from a lagit sale
So how am I supposed to start trusting eBay this is my first sale I had a nightmare with labels and shipping it and finally got shipped The customer finally got it and they refused to give me my money everything's done everything said The money's there and they refuse to give me my money not till the end of next month That's just stupid I don't even know if it's going to be there it keeps changing keeps changing amounts that's in there so I don't know what the heck they're doing and they said that this is supposed to build trust in our relationship with eBay well I don't trust eBay this the first time I've sold something with them and they haven't been able to help me with Jack you know I mean anybody else have this problem because I've never heard of anything like this where just because it's the first time I've sold something and it's a high amount that they're going to hold my money after the transactions complete for another 30 days and it's not like in a escrow account or it's not in anything building interest or anything like that is just sitting there and I lost my car because I was behind on payments that's why I made this sale it's just stupid stupid stupid stupid this is criminal and this is theft this is bullying this is wrong and I don't have any other options I've been on the phone with every representative every manager that I could speak up speak to everybody's can't do anything is what they say I think that's b******* And there's nothing else I can do I just feel so used and so bullied I feel I feel like a victim I will never do business with eBay again

I am really sorry that this is happening on your first sale ... but eBay typically holds funds for 30 days for most items that sell for $1000 ... even when the seller has been with eBay for years.
eBay wants to be sure money is available if the buyer decides to file a return request (for a refund) within the time period allowed ... 30 days from delivery. All of this is explained in the rules for selling ... but you are not alone in starting to sell before reading everything available.
I wanted to congratulate you on making such a great first sale ... but am not sure you're able to appreciate that now. Good luck to you ... and I hope your financial situation gets better soon.

eBay doesn’t care if you trust them. Their priority is to learn to trust you.

Ebay made rules to prevent from happening that sellers run away without paying their fees.
