ebay is potecting a lying thief
I was scammed by a lying thief seller who stole my money and did not deliver the product. This scum has 100% positive feedback over the last 12 months on nearly 3600 feedbacks. Not one single negative. The negative I posted never appeared. I just received a vaguely threatening email from ebay warning me to stop attempting to recoup my money. I call shenanigans on ebay.
Should I go to the FBI or states attorney general?

Did you file a Refund Request when the estimated date of delivery had passed without receiving your item?
Is there any tracking information in the Order Details in your Purchase History?
If Ebay cannot help you, you can file a dispute with Paypal or contact your credit card company.

OP3 years agoA box that did not contain my purchase was delivered. the seller, ebay and paypal all declined my request to return the purchase price stating that since I received the box, I also received the product.

If you filed an "item not received" case, all the seller has to do to win is provide a tracking number that shows delivery occurred.
Had you filed a "not as described" case instead, the seller would have had to provide shipping and would have had to refund you once the item had been returned.
If you have started and lost a case with PayPal, then eBay can no longer help you.
You may still have recourse through your payment method if you paid by credit card, but be sure you file the proper case and meet your obligation to ship the item back. You may have to pay for shipping yourself. Be sure to get tracking so you can prove that the item was delivered.

OP3 years agonot as described would not work as the entire item was missing, nothing to return. ebay did not post my negative feed back, the lying thieves at BIKES TRIKES & QUADS still have a 100% positive feedback. also ebay has threatened to block me for

·3 years agoUnless you ordered an empty box, it wasn't as described.
Tracking showed the package was delivered and that's why you lost the INR case.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your credit card.
Don't file an INR, you'll loose, open an item not as described case and you return the empty box you received.

OP2 years agoPaypal declined compensation because the package was delivered.
Also I received this complete pack of lies from ebay - total manure, the very few times in the past I had issues with a product, it was quickly worked out with the seller. I have never received NO PRODUCT from a seller before. This is a new scam, apparently supported by ebay...

Mentor2 years agoPaypal declined compensation because the package was delivered.
That would make sense if you filed an "item not received" case with PayPal (or whatever PayPal's equivalent case is). Since you did receive "something" and the seller has tracking to prove it. You would only win that case if the seller was unable to provide tracking.
You need to file a "not as described" case with PayPal and return the box for a refund.
