Ebay is not helping with refund request, horrible customer service
I bought an item that I realized I didn't really want later on, so I contacted the seller and asked them to not ship the item and give me a refund. For some reason however the refund didn't go through, and so I just decided to accept it and wait for my item so I can just sell it myself.
It has been 2 months, and the item has still not arrived (it should've come after 2 weeks or so). The blue marker is still between "Paid" and "Tracking Available". It hasn't even been shipped out. So I contacted the seller multiple times to know what the f*** is going on, without ever receiving a reply. Then I contacted Ebay, and it still says "You already have a request open for this item" without giving me any sort of response whatsoever.
What am I supposed to do? I've effectively been robbed 300 bucks. This is my first time using Ebay, and it's safe to say it will be the very last as well.

I'm sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with your first order. I won't waste our time telling you what you SHOULD have done. I'll just deal with the future.
It's too late getting a refund from eBay. Your case is likely closed, and Customer Service is a PIA to deal with. You have two options for a refund ~~
I'd go with #2 if given the choice. Good luck! 🙂

See if you can check the status of your current request here:

You only have thirty days from the last estimated delivery date to file an "item not received" case, or thirty days from delivery to file a return. After that you may still have some recourse through your payment method. PayPal and many credit cards offer up to six months of protection from the date of purchase.
