Ebay Website Complaint, Wednesday, 08/26/2026 1733
The eBay website is running faulty software that has caused multiple glitches to occur during communication, buying, paying.
I am unable to contact any sufficient source for help except predesigned Artificial Intelligence which is far and away from the factual definition of the intended service.
I have lost over $25.00 in flasely charged shipping fees and discounts just today alone.
I have received electronic notices twice today that I am no longer welcome to transact with 2 Sellers.
My favored payment choice is a PayPal Credit account which no longer shows up on my list of choices for purchases.
The 'cart' sytem failed at least 12 times, 12 times!. The process kept changing the items I could check out at any given moment, then suddenly the whole transaction would vacate. As an end result I also have lost my right to maintain my PayPal open line of credit , just vanished and PayPal can't find a solution and of course, there is not live humanoid specimen at eBay so in the end, I will have to renege on the deal with my Seller. I didn't come to eBay to work a shift for free. I forget, when did these corporations start forcing retail customers and medical patients to do their own outsourcing, problem solving and logistic support while all the time telling customers that eBay is watching 'you like a hawkbecause we know you make deals behind our backs. If so, the way I see that is remuneration for work done.
So again, it's 0244 and I'm here trying to get any sort of idea where I am, no responses from earlier attempts to get eBay function on its own, for its own customers.
Oh did I forget to mention that eBay accused me of being a 'BOT"and they removed me from my buying activity which again cost me discounts, time and opportunity.
This is not a secure website when the actual proprietary administrative entity cannot manage its own software systems control, reliability and customer security needs.
The folks who have been shouldered with the additional burden of "Problem Solver" kudos and thanks, but you need not waste your time with me, just get a working hone number, email address or the address of the current CEO so I can stop in for an unexpected visit! Kidding.
Thank y'all,
Walter A. Bradford

If you mean that when you check out of eBay and select PayPal, you are not able to choose a specific payment method in your PayPal wallet but one is automatically selected for you, in that case go to your eBay Payments page in your eBay account and delete the entry for PayPal that appears there.
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list
The next time you check out on eBay and choose PayPal, you should be sent to your PayPal wallet page and given a chance to pick a specific payment method, including PayPal Credit if the transaction qualifies.

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Those can cause issues. In some cases a bad link can cause a redirection loop, triggering eBay's bot detection feature.
Try another browser to rule out a browser issue. Or try completing your transaction using a different device such as a mobile device when not connected to your usual network.
