Ebay is giving me the run around with thier Money Back Guarantee policy
I'm the buyer and the seller likely intentionally shipped to the wrong address. Ebay's tracking shows that the package went to the wrong zipcode. Fedex backed this up and told me the shipping address was not my address. My claim has been rejected numerous times and here's the latest response:
Thank you for contacting us back regarding the claim id xxxxx . I'm sorry to hear about your experienced and that you have to go through this. My name is xxxx and I'm here to further address the issue and provide alternative on how to get your refund.
xxxx, before I will go over with the pertinent of the claim, I would like to extend my appreciation with your understanding and cooperation with this item not receive claim.
Upon checking the claim, the best way to get the refund is by starting a claim outside eBay's policy protection to maximize your protection. As a buyer myself, this should work, because it is the same purpose, but process is different. Should you have further concerns, please let us know.
Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated. Thank you for choosing eBay. I wish you the best with your future eBay transactions.
It basically speaks for itself. You can't actually speak to anyone in this department either as I have tried so maybe it is just AI as literally all the replies contain basically the same structure and have some of the same lines from different "people"
As far as I can tell, the next step is actually suing ebay as they are not upholding their policy.
And, as far as Fedex goes, they can't do anything as they have no idea what the package contained or if I was even the intended recipient.
