Ebay is adding an extra $1 to all my flat-rate shipping
With all the shipping increases this year, I'm trying a way to offset it a little tiny bit: I have set up surcharges by zone. Just small surcharges, using approximately the radius of USPS postal zones in relation to where I'm shipping from. So, customers that are a zone 6 distance from me are set up to add a $1 surcharge to their shipping, and zones 7-8 add $2. This was working great for several months, and then in August, I started to notice transactions here and there that had an extra $1 added. I noticed that buyers who only live a zone 5 distance away from me were getting charged an extra $1 (should have been zero), and then I noticed a zone 7 added a $3 surcharge (should have been $2), so I went back to scroll down my Paid & Shipped screen, and saw that all of them had an extra $1 charged. I went back to my shipping preferences to see if anything changed, double checking to verify which states are listed (only in zones 6-7-8), and that each state is in the right rule for the $1 or $2 surcharge. I verified that everything is still set up the way I originally did it, so there would be no reason to charge the $1 in states that aren't listed at all, and an additional $1 to the states that are listed.
I'm sure this is some sort of technical glitch - but how do I contact anyone who works on ebay's coding?
