Ebay is a rip off
Buyer said paid shipping fee for 29 then ebay come and charge buyee again for shipping label and took my part so I basically sold it for 2 dollars. Like who the Hella got time to do a 2 dollars sale

Mentor2 weeks agoThe buyer pays YOU for the shipping b/c you have to buy the Shipping Label so you can mail their pkg. All your costs should be taken into account before you list your item, so that you can make a profit that is acceptable to you. You should also consider acqusition costs, time, gas, shipping supplies, eBay fees & any other costs that you have to sell an item. You also have to consider the going rate for that item. If your costs = $8 & the item only sells for $7, then yes, it may not be worth your time to list it.
Some sellers are simply cleaning house & don't care about a profit, they just want to get rid of the item. Everyone has different motivations for selling. If your goal is to make a profit, then you need to know your percentage of selling costs to start, so you can be sure to cover it in your asking price.
