eBay is a Hot Mess
eBay is absolutely awful. I’ve been trying to resolve an issue for for weeks. The robot keeps hanging up on me. I am experiencing more and more bad buyers that are ruining the experience. How can I speak to somebody? I have been on eBay since 1999. 24 years and it’s become so frustrating. I now list my stuff on Poshmark and Mercari. I will be removing all remaining listings and not listing anything else until I have satisfactory resolution.
I am experiencing more crazy buyers than ever. They don’t read the description and then go crazy on you. I always immediately give a full refund and it’s still not good enough and eBay still leaves the negative feedback. I have had to wait a week before I can leave a neutral or a negative but somehow these crazy buyers can leave it immediately and eBay won’t do anything about it. I’m so done. Do other people have recommendations on where else they’re selling their stuff?

I'm sorry that you've wasted so much time trying to get in touch with eBay. If you had posted here with the problems you were having, we most likely could have helped you. We definitely could have helped you get in touch with eBay.
Just to clarify something for you...there is no requirement for a seller to wait a week to leave feedback for a buyer or to reply to feedback. Since you can only leave positive feedback with positive comments for a buyer, I don't know why you would have wanted to leave it. I wish you had taken time to cool off before leaving the reply you did. When leaving a reply, it should be calm, professional, and a help to put you in a good light.
I looked at the listing to try to see what the buyer may have been unhappy about and this is what i see:
A mini refrigerator and two celery sticks with spikes on the ends. So what the buyer should have received was a mini-fridge and two spiked celery sticks. I did not find the description clear at all - it was just a group of keywords. No measurements, no photos of the full refrigerator or what it looks like inside, etc.
It would be a policy violation to provide you with suggestions on moving to another site, so you won't get that advice on the boards.
