eBay irresponsability
Extremely upset with eBay (definetly closing my account with them). Purchased an Item on May 31, received a msg from Ebay stating that because of an issue with the seller's account the item is no longer on eBay but that it wouldn't affect my order since I was charged before this happened with the seller.
Guess what?, I am still waiting for the item and eBay just washes it's hand and so does the seller that hasn't returned any of my emails.
What am I to do?

If it has been less than 30 days since the last estimated delivery date for receiving the item which should show in your Order details, you can go to your purchase history click on the More actions button, you will see either I haven't received it or possibly Return item. If you see return item click on that and select I haven't received it as the reason for a refund.
Since your seller is no longer a registered user, they will not be able to respond within the 3 day period they have to do that. So on the 4thd day go to your My ebay page click on the refund/return dispute and when that opens, click on the ask ebay to step in button. You will receive a full refund from the sellers account.

< Purchased an Item on May 31 . . . What am I to do? >
It's been too long for eBay to be of any help to you. If you paid with PayPal, you're in luck, PayPal gives you 180 days to open an Item Not Received dispute. https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/dispute-filing-timeframes-help1173
Otherwise you can try a chargeback with the credit card company you used to fund the payment.

Here is what eBay says about removed listings:
"What happens if I bought something from a seller who's been removed from eBay?
If you haven't paid for the item, you won't need to. The item should've been removed from your purchase history. We encourage you to look for a similar item from a different seller.
If you already paid for the item, please follow these steps:
Wait 10 days for the item to arrive.
If you haven't received it within 10 days, please let us know your item hasn't arrived.
If you receive your item, but want to return it, you can request a refund."
You only have thirty days from the last estimated delivery date to start an "item not received" case with eBay, then up to twenty-one business days to ask eBay to step in and force a refund if the seller does not refund you voluntarily. After that, eBay cannot help.
If you have waited too long to ask for help from eBay, you may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer up to six months of protection for items that are not received.

OP1 month agoThank you so much for trying to help. I just found out about this seller because I was looking for something and I checked my order history and realized that I never received the order. It was charged on May 31st. Ebay never emailed me to inform me of their problem with the seller. I just found a msg. on the portal dated 09/12/26, and stating that I shouldn't have a problem since it was purchased before the seller incident. But at the same time the seller never mailed the product, there is no information for shipping. They took the money and didn't mail anything. They are not returning any of my emails. It is frustrating because I believe that eBay should have contacted me thru my personal email and not just give the msg on the portal where who knows when I was going to go in.
