Ebay Int'l Shipping Tracking
Mailed package to Illinois hub end of January, tracking shows Illinois arrival (USPS ground advantage). Final destination-Indonesia. No tracking progress shown beyond that point. Buyer says he never received, opened INR in mid April and ebay denied refund. I've had to block the buyer due to his pleas for refund, there's nothing more I can do. Is it normal for the seller to not have any tracking access after hub departure?

OP1 year agoThanks. I contacted ebay thru FB a month ago and they said they'd look into it. Item arrived at hub way back on 2/4/25.

Once it was one day past the estimated delivery date to Indonesia, the Buyer should have opened his Item Not Received refund request then.
I have a feeling this is might be a custom fees/tax issue with the Buyer.
In any event, it is most likely way past the time the Buyer could apply for a refund, assuming he paid all the fees to begin with.

In general, when you have an international sale that is shipped to the hub, you should be able to go to the Order Details to see the 2nd tracking number. Those Order Details will also show you the estimated delivery date to your Buyer in Indonesia.
If you are not seeing a 2nd tracking number, it's possible the package has not left the hub. If the package is being held up at the hub, the Order Details should say why. It's also possible that your Buyer either opened his refund request too soon, or there is another reason for the delay.
I would message eBay on their Facebook page so they can look into this more for you.

OP1 year agoThanks. Item arrived at Hub way back on 2/4/25. Shows no movement after that; no 2nd tracking #. Buyer contacted me mid March and I contacted ebay thru FB. They said they'd look into it. Buyer started emailing me again several times in mid April. He filed his refund request 10 weeks after Hub arrival. 9400108105462427185504 (usps tracking #)
