eBay International Shipping Program

Question

Hi all,

How do I enroll in eIS? Or perhaps the better question is, how do I know when I'm eligible for the program? Fairly new seller here (<6 months) with 15 sales, but have had some interest from international buyers. Thank you for any information.

@roundhousereadsbooks You can not enroll in the eBay International Shipping Program. eBay adds sellers based on top secret algorithm. Just keep providing good customer service and shipping on time and you will be added eventually.

These are the basic eligibility requirements>

Eligibility

To be eligible for the eBay International Shipping program, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

Above Standard or Top Rated seller performance
Eligible for seller protections
Low or Average Service Metrics
Compliant with eBay rules and policies

The following requirements apply to items shipped through eBay International Shipping:

Items are physically located in the US and listed on eBay.com
Items are eligible for export
The cost of the order doesn't exceed $2500 USD, including shipping
Packages should not exceed:
- 48 inches in length, 84 inches in length and girth
- 44 lbs. in billable weight (not actual weight) for all countries except Canada (maximum billable weight for Canada is 66 lbs.)

Transaction limits may apply to some accounts. Read our full list of seller terms and conditions to find out more about eBay International Shipping eligibility and program requirements.

I also recommend blocking buyers in locations you do not ship to so buyers do not try to purchase an item that they can not pay for. This will not affect the EIS program once you are enrolled.

Click this link: https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements Then block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items in 12 months.

Also block buyers in locations you do not ship to.

Then at the bottom of the screen look for buyer Payment Requirements put a check next to>>

Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid.

Require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer.

These settings will cut down on your non paying buyer issues.
