eBay International Shipping not showing up
I just posted a garment bag (204738468133). As always, this was in the listing:
eBay International Shipping
Your listing will show up for buyers worldwide, where applicable. Ship to our domestic shipping hub, and we’ll handle the rest, including customs and returns—at no extra cost to you. Learn more
After I listed it, it shows just shipping to the United States. This happened once before on a different item, and I couldn't get an answer to why. All my other listings show shipping around the world.
Earlier I listed it, saw it was wrong, cancelled it, and tried re-listing it without a Calculated Shipping Rule. Same thing: shipping only to US. I am enrolled in eBay International Shipping.

Mentor2 years ago@stingray1268 I looked at a couple of other listings for similar military bags from other sellers and EIS is not offered on those listings even though the sellers are using EIS.
It is possible that the bots are blocking it due to the bag being military related.
I am guessing that it's not too large or heavy to meet the EIS requirements>
You can try emailing the EIS department and see if they can tell you why it's blocked.

OP2 years agoThis is 5 pounds, in a 28"x10"x6" box. Well under the limits.
The other item I saw this on was a pair of goalie pads - also under the size and weight limits, and not military, so I don't see a pattern. If eBay blocked these, a message would be nice.
I will contact the EIS Department as you suggest - thanks for the help!

Mentor2 years ago@stingray1268. You're welcome. Sometimes there's a keyword that causes the bots to block an item that should be allowed.
For example a Hairspray play magazine was blocked. I advised the seller to remove the word Hairspray since they had a international buyer then EIS allowed it.

OP2 years agoeBay International Shipping replied to my email and confirmed: "blocked due to militaria, these items are often not allowed for export."
If that's eBay's policy, so be it. But changing my shipping options without telling me is a big usability issue.
