eBay International shipping
I’ve just started selling on EBay in US. I listed an item & on the listing it is marked that I accept international order, thinking I would use EBay international shipping service. A potential buyer contacted me via private message asking how much is the shipping cost to Australia. How to get the approx. cost automatically shown on that potential buyer’s location? I thought when I made the selection of accepting international buyer, the shipping cost for using EBay International Shipping service would show automatically on the listing for international buyer, depending on that ( potential) buyer’s country location?

Mentor8 months ago@taklia1985 I checked a couple of your listings and you are NOT enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program.
You are offering DIRECT by you shipping internationally on this item> https://www.ebay.com/itm/306697812828
This item doesn't have any type of international shipping> https://www.ebay.com/itm/306714842588
I do NOT recommend direct shipping internationally as a new seller. You will be responsible for items arriving on time and in the condition stated in the listing. If the buyer SAYS the item is not as described then you pay the very expensive return shipping OR refund without a return.
The only way a buyer in another country can purchase an item is if you offer shipping to their country on the listing.
OR they can use a package forwarding service that is located in the US. If they choose that option I would recommend Delaware or Oregon as both states do not have state sales tax and they have a lot of package forwarding companies.
EDIT to add that you can look up how much it would cost to ship the item to Australia using this tool>
