EBAY INTERNATIONAL SELLING PROGRAM FEEDBACK REMOVAL PROCESS
A buyer who purchased an item through the eBay International Selling program has opened a case and left negative feedback after I was informed by eBay that they had handled a return request on my behalf, that I didn't have to take any further action and that I would not be charged for the refund.
The buyers' feedback, relates to their duties and import fees, which I informed the buyer, would be handled through the eBay International Selling Program. It is my understanding that any negative feedback related to shipping and returns after the item is received at the U.S. hub, would be removed. When I requested feedback removal through the feedback removal system, I received a reply that it was not eligible and that I should work things out with the buyer.
When I contacted eBay via that chat system, I was informed that I had to wait until the case was resolved before any feedback would be removed and that I should send him a revision request.
I'm hoping you can provide me with information about the timeline for the feedback removal process for items sold through this program and some insight into how I can or should, in the future, better handle this situation.
I've included links to the relevant feedback, messages and the chat with customer service below.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Tina
