ebay insertion fees for seller
As a seller when we list items ebay charges an insertion fee. My question is how do sellers handle if you have 5 items for sale and a buyer buys 1 item, then ask if you will consider a lower price if they buy the other 4 items. You agree to the lower price. Do you go and mark each item with a lower price and ask the buyer to go select each item or do you create a new listing with the 4 items at the lower price? I created a new listing, the buyer purchased and ebay took their fees, I cancelled the 4 individual listings. After I did this, I started reviewing ebay's policy and concerned they are still going to charge me a transaction fee for the 4 individual items I canceled. Thanks for any help or advice if you have been in this situation.
