Ebay increased my shipping and charged me an extra $16
What would ebay increase my shipping cost by $16 to total over $26 for a relatively light handbag shipped in the contiguous US?

Try to always put accurate dimensions and weight into your listings. If not, that can add a lot more to your shipping costs.
Where it's being shipped matters too. Alaska and Hawaii are expensive... depends on distance and zone too.
Could any of those been the culprit? I use calculated shipping for that reason, but what your selling and the competition matters in offering Free Shipping or Calculated to be added.
