Ebay inaccurate
My item purchased was delivered to an address seller labeled completely disregarding my address in purchase order. After getting delivered confirm and not in possession of item I called the delivery folks USPS. and was told and confirmed package delivered to address in label and was also confirmed address in label is not mine. I called eBay support explained the issue got a response from support saying seller provided a tracking info so no refund for me.. actually hilarious. Apparently no one took the time to actually read my issue..I send a Facebook email and a very nice person tried to help me but failed . verbatim I was told as a one time courtesy eBay will refund my money .. wow..eBay completely disregarded and ignored the inefficiency of seller labeled address incorrectly as confirmed by USPS AND ACTUALLY SAYING THEY ARE ME A FAVOR IN THE REFUND .not a solution to my issue of future purchases being effective..Then lo and behold as to why I am reaching out for advice. I just received an email from support stating that the reason for the refund was uten STOLEN DURING DELIVERY. and I am concerned and also the derogatory appearance of USPS being ineffective and it's a total lie. I am not comfortable in this response and I'm going further..any suggestions

It sounds like you got your refund now. Please report the seller as shown in 2 below.
Should this happen again, here are the steps to follow.
1) First, call the post office to see if the tracking number label contained your name and your address.
a) If your name and correct address were on the label, ask USPS to review the GPS on the delivery, retrieve the item from the wrong house, and deliver it to you.
b) If your name and address weren't on that label, ask the Post Office if they will put this in writing. Also, ask for the weight of the package using that tracking number. Follow the rest of the steps starting with 2 below:
2) Then, report the seller using this process
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Important, select "The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on social media this way:
Just sent a private message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.
