eBay holds on sold item money!
I am so disappointed at a recent transaction. I've been with eBay for 7 years and now they decided to put a hold on the monies from a sold item. Why would it take 10 days for an item that's been paid for from a buyer to be released to my account? I wonder how much interest this company is drawing on holding money from sellers? It doesn't seem legal but I'm sure there are loopholes. I'm just so disappointed. Thank you for listening!!

You may have been selling for a long time, but you have not sold much recently, making you an infrequent seller.
Seller accounts that have not sold in a while are particularly vulnerable to being hijacked and used for scams, thus eBay's extra caution in such cases.
