eBay holding MY money
I sold an item that the buyer came and picked up on the 24th. It said in the eBay app that my funds would be released within 24 hours after the buyer gave me his six digit satisfactory code. He picked them up he was 100% satisfied gave me the code and did a feedback note telling eBay that he was completely satisfied to release my money. Lo and behold the next morning after the items are already across country with the new owner eBay changed it from me getting my funds from 24 hours to 31 days. Why?? When I call and ask them I get a generic response and no real answer. But I am surely told that they did get their money and that I don't need to call anymore because I will receive my money within 31 days. I only sold them to pay my rent. I needed $250. So I sold $3,000 item for 300 bucks just to pay my rent by September 1st. And then eBay takes it from me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
You can see the fund holds policy on this page> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=
