Ebay holding my funds because they are evaulating my account.

Question

Ebay is holding my money for at least 5 days while the evaluate my account. I have contacted them and they said not to worry they do this with everyone. Ok, but why hold my money? ($2000) Has anyone had this happen before? Can someone explain this to me? I never got a clear answer from Ebay.
