Ebay help is a farce! You click for help, and keep clicking t get to the bottom of the page and the
Seller put old address on order and is NOT responding to messages. Can anyone help. This started in am.

OP2 years agoPlease forgive me, I wanted to thank everyone who replied And I Typed a long newsy Post And While I was looking for a button to actually post it The screen flickered and it disappeared. At this point I don't know whether to scream or cry so I'm gonna get back to it later when I'm up to redoing it. Thanks again, LJ

Mentor2 years agoSellers are not able to change the address, so the address they send it to is the address provided by you, the buyer. A seller would not know your 'old' address from your 'new' address. You provided the wrong address.

If you made a purchase, the seller is required to ship to the address that was provided with the payment notification from Ebay. Did you update your address when you were on the Ebay checkout page processing your payment?

OP2 years agoI went to my account at eBay and updated my address then I purchased the item. It's an eBay problem but I can't reach them for anything. I did reach a FedEx supervisor and she said that the seller can contact them anytime to update the address. I've even got an email from eBay thanking me for keeping my address current. I started emailing the seller right after I received the paid invoice that included the incorrect shipping address and a tracking number. The timing is critical as I'm moving and the new place isn't ready so this tent, which is what I purchased was to hold everything until the house is ready. That's why I didn't want to cancel the purchase and then redo it. I'm out of time to move out of my current place where I've been for 7 years and now I'm in a bit of a spot. Seller still has not replied and this is the next day. FedEx did say that seller can even contact them even if the tent is enroute.

Did you update ALL of the addresses on Ebay, including shipping address, or just your registered Ebay account address?
