Ebay has removed an item I purchased due to a policy violation

Ebay has removed an item I purchased due to a policy violation.

I can no longer report the item as never having arrived, because it no longer exists.

I have paid for an item, which was clearly fraudulently sold.

What recourse do I have? I cannot open a case as the item no longer exists, but have paid for the item nearly two months ago.

@selforfun. I wanted to remind you that FB is no longer an option.

The only social media now is Instagram.

Your order is still in your Purchase History even if the listing was removed.

Go here and find it:
https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase

From there try to open an “item not received” request.

If you don’t see the option or it’s been too long, contact eBay directly and ask them to open the case for you since the item was removed for a policy violation.
