eBay has not updated their systems and is still charging Virginia residents sales tax on coins/bullion
Summary: buckeyeosu1 is experiencing an issue with eBay, where the platform is incorrectly charging sales tax on coins and bullion to Virginia residents despite an extended exemption. They ask for advice on how to contact someone at eBay to resolve this issue. disneyshopper suggests checking the listing category, but buckeyeosu1 confirms that this is a broader error by eBay, following a last-minute legislative change.
Hello,
Virginia has extended the exemption of sales tax on coins and bullion last month, but eBay has not updated their systems and is still charging Virginia residents sales tax.
How do I get in contact with a human at eBay to get this fixed?

This is an actual error on eBay's part. eBay started charging tax to Virginia residents on July 1, but the exemption was extended at the last minute by the state government
