Ebay has no record of my order. Unable to get help from Ebay.
Bought a $21.90 battery via eBay using PayPal. Battery arrived so I cleared email records of order. Battery installed in security system and was found to be defective. I need a replacement or refund. PayPal provided order information with Ebay order number. My personal Ebay account does not show the item in recent purchase list. I can't get any response from Ebay when I use the 12-digit Ebay order number that PayPal provided. Unable to talk to a person at Ebay to search out my order just recordings that are of no help.

Is it possible you made the purchase using a different eBay account? If so, sign in to that account and check.
If you purchased as a guest, you may be able to generate a new guest order email here:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying-items/buying-guest?id=4035
Once you receive the guest order email, sign out of your current eBay account and use the "order details" link in the email.
