ebay has a hold on my payouts for 30+ days!!! For No Real Apparent Reason
I am fairly new to being a seller here on Ebay, I had a rough start and a couple of my orders were late being shipped. I did get the merchandise out and the buyer did receive there product without any complaints. Ebay has decided that they are going to hold ALL my payouts for 30+ days!!! Why?? I could wrap my head around 2 weeks and understand that but a whole fricking month!! I have bills that are due and Im selling on ebay so I can play catch up on my bills since CoVID really impacted me financially. I cant be the only one that Ebay is doing this to. How do I fix it? I really need the money...the customer has there products and are able to use them for a month!!! before I can even get paid then on top of it Ebay is sitting on my money in there account collecting any interest that may be accuring. I feel I am almost being picked on. I hope someone else can relate to my problem and maybe give me some possible answers. Thank you for your prompt attention to my matter and have a happy New Year!!!

Mentor3 years agoThere is nothing you can do to change the hold period. Make sure to ship on time, provide tracking, don't cancel any sales and respond to any customer concerns right away. Then eBay will start reducing the hold period.
It is not unusual for eBay to hold payments for 30 days for new sellers.
You really should take a photo of each lot you are listing. You are going to get buyers that do not read the description and expect to receive everything in the photo. Never show items that are not included.
