eBay Generated Invoices
My eBay generated invoices often contain incorrect information- they say I do not ship to the city or state of zip code of the buyer. The buyer then inquires as to whether this is my policy, I therefore have to respond that it is not, and this often consumes a lot of time. I've tried calling eBay directly but the number given is not correct- it does not provide the correct option for which I question can presumably be answered. It is frustrating and a huge waste of my time, Can someone help? Harold Boyer ID=bluehal

If this is for the stamp collection, it's because you did not set up shipping parameters in your listing. The message doesn't pertain to the one buyer, it would apply to any buyer for that item.

You have at least 2 items where the shipping is not correctly specified. This is what causes the message ‘may not ship to ….’
This can be caused by entering an incorrect dimension or weight, so you need to edit those items and reenter the shipping info. Look through your list of items for “shipping not specified†-

OP2 years agoI always include the weight in my listings, but do not do so with the size, since nearly all are enclosed in a standard business size envelope. Are you saying I should always do so? Apperciate the help.

Yes, I would always include dimensions as well as weight. You never know what may change 🙂
