eBay gave seller the wrong address. But since the item was delivered they closed the case. The sel
eBay gave the seller an old address that’s over 60 miles from me. Yes it’s been delivered but neither eBay nor the seller will correct the issue. Clearly wherever it was delivered kept the item.
shame shame shame on eBay. Unless this is corrected I will never do business with eBay again.

Ebay only provides the shipping address you have on file at the time of your purchase. It is not possible for Ebay to give the old address unless you did not update it.

·1 year agoIf YOU didn’t correct the address when you checked out, eBay’s mind readers were probably not working that day, so they gave the seller the address they had on file for you. The seller is absolutely required to ship to the address on file, and you were given the option to change the address right up until you submitted payment. There’s nothing for the seller or eBay to correct. They followed procedure, you didn’t. You’re blaming eBay for your own mistake.
