eBay gave me until 9/2 to respond to INAD complaint, I provided label but was charged
Summary: baydealz expressed frustration with a website after being charged for a return label despite following procedures to avoid it. They found the system's response insufficient and mentioned difficulties in addressing the issue, contemplating removing listings due to ongoing issues. jacbarcollectibles explained that charges occur when a prepaid return label is issued in an "Item not as described" case and are processed only when the label is used by the buyer.
These guys are really something. Yes I know we must provide label or face forced and charged return, so I did generate one, upload and provide tracking, by 9/1, yet it looks like they charged me for a label anyway. Of course I cannot get through and don't expect a worthwhile reply, from there or in here. I'm just adding comment for how broken this website is. It'll take some time to pull down 100 listings, but not as much time as trying to get through this machine, just to repair the damage it keeps causing.

Mentor1 month agoOn an "Item not as described" case the seller must provide a prepaid return label so you were properly charged for the label. The charge would not be made until the label was actually used by the buyer to return the item.

OP1 month agothat's why I asked but I finally got through, it wasn't clear in the accounting, just said 'charge for refund,' but you are correct.
