ebay fraud never buy through them
Summary: waqakha-16 shared a negative experience with a seller on eBay, stating they received an empty envelope instead of the camera they ordered. They opened a case with their credit card company but were informed that the eBay Money Back Guarantee was voided due to the credit card claim. disneyshopper advised that filing a claim with eBay first is necessary to use their Money Back Guarantee, cautioning that involving a credit card company removes eBay from the process.
Neve by from Ebay, i ordered the camera order # 06-14882-78717, the seller turned out to be fraud, he send the empty envelope with no merchandise, so as a safety measure i opened case with my credit card company.
Now ebay is telling me that it voided my ebay money back guarantee, and my credit company when they inquire with ebay they are telling them the merchandise is received and now they are dis-allowing my claim, i lost my money but i wanted to warn others of this fraud and ebay lack of resolution on this case.

Mentor1 month agoYou ALWAYS start with filing a case with ebay to use their Money Back Guarantee, making sure you file within 30 days of receipt of the item or within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date. Once you file with your credit card issuer, ebay is out of the picture, and will no longer help you.
